Itinerary
The adventure begins late at night as we leave behind the city lights and head toward the misty mountains of Malshej Ghat. Meet our trek leaders and fellow trekkers at your preferred pickup point and get ready for an unforgettable monsoon experience in the Sahyadris.
Day 1 : Saturday

• ️10.30 pm: Borivali SGNP 
• 10.45 pm: Oberoi Mall, Goregaon
• 11.00 pm: Hanuman Bus Stop, Andheri – End of Andheri flyover
• 11.15 pm: Sion Lunch Home, Sion
• 11.25 pm: Amar Mahal , Ghatkopar
• 11.45 pm: Teen Hath Naka, Thane 

Day 2 : Sunday

• 12:10 AM: Kalyan Khadakpada Circle.
  Enjoy an overnight road trip through the scenic routes of Malshej Ghat while the mountains slowly begin to disappear into the monsoon clouds.
• 04:00 AM: Reach Base village and rest in the bus
  Wake up to the fresh mountain air, chirping birds, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahyadris
• 05:00 AM: Enjoy a local breakfast and begin the journey toward the trek starting point
• 05:30 AM: Have breakfast and start the bus journey toward the start point of the trek.
• 06:45 AM: Reach the start point 
  As the first rays of sunlight touch the valleys, begin descending through dense forests, fog-covered trails, streams, and lush green landscapes of Old Malshej Ghat.
• 07:00 AM: Start descending towards Malshej Ghat jungle.
  Trail offers breathtaking valley views, monsoon clouds, hidden jungle sections, and countless waterfalls flowing through the cliffs. Experience the raw beauty of the Sahyadris while trekking deep into one of Maharashtra’s most scenic monsoon regions.
• 10:30 AM: Reach Kalu Waterfall viewpoint and spend time enjoying the giant waterfall and valley views

• 01:30 PM: Reach Base Village, Get freshen up 
• 02:30 PM: Have Lunch

• 04:00 PM: Start return journey to Mumbai.
• 10:00 PM: Reach Mumbai. (Arrival time is subjective to the traffic and weather conditions)

Health & Fitness:

For instant energy, carry glucose powder, energy drinks, or chocolates. Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands a good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over-the-counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads-up to them if you need any medical assistance. 

Monsoon Precaution Measures:

• Use trekking shoes with a good grip to avoid slipping.
• Take precautions against bugs. 
• Carry first aid & necessary gear.
• Protect your valuable items like cameras, phones, IDs, etc., with an extra plastic cover and then put them in your bag. 
• Keep in touch with a friend and family member.
• It is important to make note of all emergency contacts and numbers.

Tips :

• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried so that one has one's hands free while trekking.
• Please do not carry sling bags or Jholas. Avoid wearing gold and other ornaments.
• Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited.

• Dear Rangers, always remember SHOES are your best companions on a trek! Please wear a good pair of trekking shoes and not sports or running shoes. Make sure they are durable and firm enough to withstand tough conditions. You can carry floaters to wear only after the trek is completed. Feel free to contact the trek leader before the trek in case of any confusion.

• 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date.
• 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days prior to the event date.
• No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date
• Event tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
• Event tickets can be transferred to another person against cancellation.
